FOLLOWING EMERGENCY PROCEDURES / EVACUATION PLAN
1. Raise the arm immediately - Activate nearest emergency alarm.
2. Call emergency services on 000.
3. If you hear the alarm - leave the building by the nearest safe exit point immediately. Avoid using a lift in a fire emergency.
4. Don't delay to collect belongings.
5. Move quickly and quietly don't rush.
6. Assemble at your designated Emergency Assembly area.
7. Don't re-enter the building until told its safe to do so.
- If you find your self in an emergency situation where other people are unaware , your duty is to alert others and/or emergency services. Don't just assume others already have.
- Know the emergency evacuation procedure
- Know evacuation routes , building exits and emergency assemble area
- Know the procedure for raising the alarm
- Know which designated person is to be alerted invade of a emergency
