Identifying HAZARDS that may arise in the office
There are various hazards that can rise up in a workplace and it mainly depends on the surroundings of whichever your industry is/ comes under. For example, if you work with forklifts, there are certain hazards towards that job. Whereas if you work in an office, the hazards are fairly different.
The differ the industry, it doesn't really matter because every workplace will have hazards. All workers will be exposed to these hazards whether them being obvious or not so obvious. |
Here are the main types of hazards that you could be exposed to:
- Physical Hazards eg. Tripping over wires , cables. - Chemical Hazards eg. Harmful chemicals in the office kitchen should be seperated from other liquids or labelled. - Electrical Hazards eg. Broken computer , damaged electrical equipment - Psychological Hazards eg. Bullying In the office , too much stress |
