Responsibilities of Workers

· Take care of your own health and safety at work.
· Take care not to endanger others .
· Inform your supervisor of any hazards or other problems.
· Follow safe operating procedures for equipment and safe ways of working or carrying out tasks , in accordance with your training instructions.
· Report any enquiry immediately to your supervisor or health or safety representative.
· Co-operate in any action taken to make your workplace safer.
· Don’t operate machinery (like a forklift or a crane) requiring a certificate of competency unless you have one.

PCBU'S Responsibilities

· Monitoring safety practices like the procedure for reporting hazards and accidents or inspect machinery.
· Being aware of specific health and safety problems ( taking walk-around inspections , considering hazards or accident reports.)
· Identifying workplace hazards.
· Working out safe job procedures and monitoring effectiveness.
· Organizing workplace training about health and safety.
· Providing ways to solve disagreements or problems.
